PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slit yarn with metallic luster hardly causing cracks in the metal thin film layer at the time of twisting, knitting, weaving or the like with a high speed and a high stress, and capable of keeping the color of a colored resin layer formed on the metallic thin film layer under the dyeing condition of the product obtained by carrying out the blending, the doubling or the like with a polyester fiber, at 130 deg.C. SOLUTION: This slit yarn with metallic luster obtained by slitting a laminate having at least a metallic thin film layer and a resin layer formed at least on one surface of a film in order is characterized by the resin layer including a coloring component comprising a pigment in the layer, and <=10 cracks (/0.2 mm length) in the metallic thin film layer caused by 30% elongation of the slit yarn with the metallic luster.
