PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide reinforcing fittings capable of improving the workability and the quality of work thereby making easier to attach the reinforcing fittings, reduce construction cost and further perform partial reinforcement, in which the temporary attaching of the reinforcing fittings to wood members is performed by the method possible even by a single hand and thereafter fasteners such as nails or screw spikes are driven in a state where the reinforcing fittings are used for reinforcing a wooden framework building. SOLUTION: In a wooden framework building, reinforcing fittings 3a made of a metal material are used at the joint portions such as foundation and column, sill and column, and column 1 and beam 2 for improving the strength at each joint. As a means for temporary attachment for a wood member to be reinforced, a claw 11 for attaching the reinforced fittings caught in the wood member to be reinforced, or an elastic body 12 for attaching the reinforcing fittings by utilizing an elastic reaction to the wood member to be reinforced, or an adhesion surface 13 for attaching the reinforcing fittings by adhesion is used.
