PURPOSE: A voice mail service method and a system therefor are provided to display an advertisement message on a client PC during the record of a voice mail or the reproduction of the voice mail. CONSTITUTION: An advertisement service center(100) including a program providing unit(110), an advertisement DB(120), and an advertisement providing unit provides a voice mail client program to a client PC unit(200) and provides a corresponding advertisement message, so that the client PC unit(200) displays the advertisement message during the record or reproduction of a voice mail. The advertisement DB stores various advertisement messages, and stores a new advertisement or an updated advertisement. The client PC unit(200) including a voice mail recording/reproducing unit(210), a voice mail adding/dividing unit(220), and an advertisement storing/reproducing unit(230) downloads the voice mail client program and drives the downloaded voice mail client program to record or reproduce a voice mail, and displays the advertisement message during the record or reproduction of the voice mail. |
