PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device capable of compensating spherical aberration and improvingly writing/reading information for an optical disk. SOLUTION: The device has an optical system formed with the going optical path that guides a laser beam emitted from a light source to the recording surface of an optical disk through an objective lens, and with the returning optical path that guides the laser beam reflected from the recording surface of the optical disk to photodetector through the objective lens; the device has an optical element that is movably adjustably arranged in the optical axis direction of the laser beam at least in the going optical path. |
