PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device that simplifies and miniaturizes the device structure in the case where plural laser beams of different wavelengths are used. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a light emitting means which has plural light emitting parts for releasing laser beams of mutually different wavelengths and which releases the laser beams in the same outgoing direction from one of the plural light emitting parts in accordance with a command for selecting a light emitting part, at least one objective lens for converging the laser beams released from the light emitting means and for guiding to the recording surface of an optical disk, and a lens driving means which moves the objective lens to one position among plural mutually different positions in the radial direction of the optical disk, correspondingly to the selected light emitting part by the selecting command. |
