PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide corrosion-resistance without gas pollution, and to rotatably support levitated body by non-contacting while generating proper magnetic power. SOLUTION: This magnetic bearing 40 is provided with an electromagnet 40b supporting levitated body 16, a displacement sensor 40a detecting a levitating position of the levitated body 16, and a controller supplying a signal and an exciting current to the displacement sensor 40a and the electromagnet 40b through a cable. An electromagnetic target 40d of the magnetic bearing wherein a magnetic field change is caused by rotations of the levitated body 16 is composed by molding single material of a ferromagnetic material, and provided with a slit groove 44 as an electrical insulating structure in parallel with a magnetic flux M generated in the electromagnet 40b.
