PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform work of edge dropping, spalling and splitting into a product size of one liquid crystal panel on a series of lines without contacting the surface. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel A on which a cutting line 1 for edge dropping, cutting line 2 for spalling and cutting line 3 for splitting into small pieces are applied, is transported in the state without contacting the surface by a transporting path B. edge-dropping and spalling are performed by two- rowed first bend-cutting bars 13 and 14 disposed before and after, two-rowed first suction supporting implements 16 and 17 disposed before and after, provided in the middle of the transporting path, and a first pressure bar 19 disposed in between. A spalled liquid crystal panel (a) is turned by 90 deg. with a swing device C, and edge dropping and splitting into small pieces are performed with a second bend-cutting bars 26 and 27 in the down-stream, second suction supporting implements 28 and 29 and a second pressure bar 30 disposed in between.
