PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper-making surface side woven fabric which does not form a concave at the cross points of bonding yarns with the yarns of the paper-making surface side woven fabric and has improved rigidity in the oblique direction. SOLUTION: This two-layered woven fabric for making paper, characterized by (A) passing each of wefts on the paper-making surface side through the upper side of three continuous warps on the paper-making surface side and then through the lower side of two continuous warps on the paper-making surface side, (B) (a) passing each of the warps on the paper-making surface side through the upper side of one weft on the paper-making surface side, through the lower side of one weft on the paper-making surface side, through the upper side of one weft on the paper-making surface side, and then through the lower side of two wefts on the paper-making surface side, and (b) disposing the one paper-making surface side weft upper side passing portion of the warp on the paper-making surface side in a posture approaching or contacting with the one paper-making surface side weft upper side-passing portion of the adjacent warp on the paper-making surface side at the two positions, and (C) disposing bonding yarns in parallel to each other between plural wefts, weaving the bonding yarns with the warps on the paper-making surface side to appear on the paper-making surface side, weaving the portions not woven with the warps on the paper-making surface side with the warps on the travel surface side on the travel surface side, thus bonding the woven fabric on the paper-making surface side to the woven fabric on the travel surface side.
