PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved, plastic-molded hose coupling. SOLUTION: The plastic-molded hose coupling 10 has a plastic sleeve 11 having an integrally formed head 12 at one end. The sleeve provides a cylindrical peripheral surface that engages in a corresponding bore of another mating component. The peripheral surface has an encircling annular recess 19 and a radially extending flexible annular diaphragm 20 formed integrally in the recess. The diaphragm has a cylindrical peripheral projection that engages and grips a corresponding surface of the mating component. |
