Provided is a device for the transport and unrolling of cylindrical hay bales (12), where the device and bale is towed by a vehicle (not shown). The device comprises a frame (2) which includes an axle (1) for passing through the round bales such that the bale acts in the manner of wheel while being towed, and a drawbar (8) for attachment to the vehicle. Depending on which direction the bales is towed dictates whether the vegetative material of the cylindrical hay unwinds for feeding out or remains wound to facilitate transport.
