<p>Cutting machine comprises a feed unit (4) which to deliver product (P) to a compression chamber (2) before passing it to an adjacent cutting chamber (3) with grilles and a rotary cutting blade (16). The chambers (2, 3) are basically parallelepiped in shape and have their bases formed by a working surface (1) which also acts as a thrust and sliding surface for the product. The cutting machine consists of a feed unit (4) which delivers the product (P) to a compression chamber (2) with a power cylinder (6) to reduce its thickness and length before passing it to an adjacent cutting chamber (3) with grilles and a rotary cutting blade (16). The two chambers (2, 3) are basically parallelepiped in shape and have their bases formed by a working surface (1) which also acts as a thrust and sliding surface for the product. The feed unit is in the form of a drawer with sections (4a, 4b) at two different levels, operated by a reciprocating power cylinder (5). The lower section (4a) is designed to fit across the compression chamber, to support the product while it is compressed and pass it to the cutting chamber, while the higher section (4b) receives the product prior to treatment.</p> |
