The trunking envisaged has a flat base combined with side wings to form a C-shaped cross-section. A cover plate fixed across the wings completes an enclosure opt. divided into two compartments by a central partition. The end-stop's cap is rectangular (110) and has an integral collar (111,112,113) on 3 sides, closing off the trunking interior at the end of a run. From the cap project two feet (121,122) that sit on the trunking base. Each is carried on a resilient support (123,124), and the gap between them accommodates the central partition, if present. At the junction of each foot and its support, a block (125a,126a) is provided, having a vertical passage for a fixing nail; this ensures hammer blows do not fall on the trunking wings. Opt., holes (129,130) in the feet permit screw fixings, or a plastic fixing plug can be used in a circular opening (127a,128a) when the trunking is not compartmented. Several variants are described.
