<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram decal which is not influenced by the formation of bubbles when it is applied on a plastic substrate. SOLUTION: The decal consists of a photopolymer hologram 11 having recorded hologram interference fringes, a transparent pressure sensitive adhesive layer 13 applied on a first surface of the photopolymer hologram 11, and a transparent hard coating layer 15 applied on a second surface of the photopolymer hologram 11. The hologram decal is manufactured by forming the hologram in the hologram layer 11, applying a layered structure including the pressure sensitive adhesive layer 13 and a removable coating layer 17 on the first surface of the hologram layer 11 with the pressure sensitive adhesive layer 13 in contact with the first surface of the hologram layer 11, and then forming the urethane coating layer 15 on the second surface of the hologram layer 11.</p> |
