<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive electronic document creation system which facilitates input operation of handwritten characters as an electronic document creation system, having an input device for handwritten characters replacing an OCR device and an image scanner. SOLUTION: A coordinate input device 1 (body 20) finds the coordinate position of an input pen 10 (ultrasonic oscillator 12) when character are entered into a document P with the input pen 10. Then a character recognizing program 2b on a PC 2 is executed to recognize the characters entered into the document P, according to the coordinate position obtained by the coordinate input device 1. Furthermore, an electronic document creating program 2d is executed to create an electronic document P', by using the recognized characters.</p> |
