PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable F-class large power amplification concerning a high frequency amplifier for amplifying a microwave band signal. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an amplifier element 1, first transmission line 2 connecting one terminal to the output terminal of this element and grounding the other terminal in high frequency, second transmission line 4 opening one terminal and connecting the other terminal to an output matching circuit 5, and dielectric resonator 3 between the first and second transmission lines 2 and 4 for comprising a band-pass filter by magnetically coupling the respective lines. When the load 6 is viewed from the output terminal of the amplifier element 1, an even-order higher harmonic wave impedance is short- circuited and an odd-order higher harmonic wave impedance is opened.
