PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that mounting different kinds of components using a positioning jig, a tool, etc., hinders the simplification of a mounting process and it is difficult to accurately set the relative positions of the components mounted on different surfaces of a substrate. SOLUTION: This is a component assembly equipped with a 1st component 16 having a positioning reference surface 38, a 2nd component 18 which has a set positioning surface 32 abutting against the positioning reference surface 38 of the 1st component 16, and a substrate 17 where those 1st and 2nd components 16 and 18 are fixed while the positioning surface 32 abuts against the positioning reference surface 38. The substrate 17 has holding parts 29 and 31 which hold the 2nd component 18 so that the positioning surface 32 of the 2nd component 17 can be displaced opposite to the positioning reference surface 38 and is further equipped with an energizing means 25 which elastically presses the positioning surface 32 of the 2nd component 18 against the reference surface 38 of the 1st component 16.
