PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative member free from the generation of nickel allergy and discoloration caused by reaction with sweat even in the case of being applied to ornaments such as watches and jewels and being put on over a long period, furthermore, in the case of being provided with a metallic layer for decoration, having a beautiful appearance without causing clouding, or the like, with a peeling solution, moreover capable of attaining these characteristics at a low cost and suitable as the one for the decoration of the surfaces of watches, jewels, or the like. SOLUTION: This decorative member is obtained by providing a base material 1 composed of a metal with a palladium (Pd)-copper (Cu) alloy layer 3 and a palladium (Pd) layer 4 in this order.
