<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid type telephony system that integrates an exchange and a LAN phone system so as to make services to all phones in common. SOLUTION: A gateway circuit 14 is connected between private branch of exchanges 12, 15, 16 and an IP switch 13 and a central controller 10 that sets a channel path of the private branch of exchanges by a control bus 17 and controls switching of an IP packet by an IP switch is contained in a LAN 33 of the IP switch. The central controller 10 manages IP address information of a LAN phone and a gateway circuit via the LAN 33 to control the connection between the LAN phones and between the LAN phones and the gateway circuit and the path setting between the gateway circuit and conventional phones 25, 26 so as to connect the conventional phones 25, 26 contained in the private branch of exchanges and the LAN phones 20-22 contained in the IP switch.</p> |
