<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a touch type input member small-sized and light in weight. SOLUTION: A strap member 10 is attached to the housing of portable electronic equipment through a hanging string 11, the end parts of the member 10 area preliminarily attached by thermocompression bonding and the attached parts and the touch type input member 21 are subsequently formed integrally by insert molding. The member 21 consists of a pressing pen point part 22 that directly inputs to a liquid crystal displaying part and a holding part 23 held by fingertips. The part 22 is made of a resin member, e.g. polypropylene, and the part 23 is made of a metallic member, e.g. stainless steel. Because the members 21 and 10 can reliably be adhered, it is possible to make the touch type input member small-sized and light in weight. When the holding part is made of the metallic member, decorativeness can be increased by performing plating processing. Thus, it is possible to provide a strap incorporated touch pen which has a simple structure and is inexpensive.</p> |
