PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a nonoriented silicon steel sheet excellent in mechanical strength property and magnetic property in which high magnetic flux density, low core loss and high strength required for an iron core stock for a reluctance motor, or the like, are combined in high dimensions. SOLUTION: This steel sheet has a composition containing, by mass, 0.005 to 0.030% C, 0.03 to 0.5% Si and/or Al, <=0.5% Mn, 0.01 to 0.40% Sb and/or Sn, <=0.40% P together with S suppressed to <=0.005% and S suppressed to <=0.005% and 0.0010 to 0.015% V together with Ti suppressed to <=0.0030% and Nb suppressed to <=0.0050%, and the balance iron with inevitable impurities. |
