PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To announce an incoming call request from a caller to a callee and also to easily perform a return call even when a line is busy when the caller makes a call. SOLUTION: Data comprising a caller side telephone number and a callee side telephone number is stored in the report request register part 13 of a processor which is included in a telephone network when the line is busy. After the line is temporarily opened, a line monitor part 17 monitors the occupancy of the line to a callee side terminal. When the line becomes free, a calling part 16 performs calling through the use of the registered callee side telephone number. When an off-hook operation is performed at the callee side terminal, it is announced that an incoming call request exists by a voice message, the callee performs a prescribed operation and, then, a calling is automatically performed to a caller side terminal. Thus, the caller side telephone number is surely reported to the callee when the call is ended and the return call is easily performed in accordance with it.
