The postero-stabilised knee prosthesis has a femoral implant (2) and three condyles (5,6), a tibial implant (3) and a pivoting meniscal plate. The posterior section of the meniscal plate (4) has a rounded convex medial zone to receive the central condyle, and two concave rounded lateral zones (18) to receive the lateral condyles. The condyles of the femoral implant have form on their posterior surfaces congruent to the posterior part of the meniscal plate. A cage (7) to receive the lug (15) has a larger dimension than the lug in the saggital plane.
