PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous detection circuit which can decrease the memory consumption and also can shorten the sorting time, even when the correlation energy is averaged to eliminate fading effect that is caused by the interference due to multiple passes. SOLUTION: A correlation value detection means detects a specific pattern, sent from a pattern generation means and a correlation value E, showing the degree of correlation with an input signal in each minimum unit of pattern change. The mean value of the value E and a correlation value Em, stored in a storage means 31, is written into the means 31 with a timing equal to that, when the correlation value is stored in the means 31 and with the repetition cycle of the specific pattern defined as a standard. Then the minimum value Emin among plural values Em stored in the means 31 is compared with the value E with the timing, when no correlation value is stored in the means 31. When E>Emin, the detected value E and its detection timing are written into the means 31 in place of the value Emin and its timing Tmin. |
