PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management system which can easily recognize the relativity between sections when a document consisting of sections is decomposed into the individual sections. SOLUTION: An operator selects a document from a picture displayed on a display 2 by using a mouse 4 and when the selected document is composed of plural sections, the operator specifies an index kind in the picture similarly. Then a control part 16 generates the names of the sections from the name of the document and indexes of the index kind, specified as mentioned above, which indicate properties of order and renames the sections to the generated section names. |
