<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a transfer time for outputting 8 serial clocks and a strobe signal when 8-bit data are transferred is necessary for a data transfer method which transfers data in series by a 3-wire type data interface. SOLUTION: A data stream to be transferred is divided into odd-numbered data (a) and even-numbered data (b), which are transferred by three signal lines together with a transfer clock (c). One L pulse is added at the tail of the odd-numbered data (a). The period of the transfer clock (c) which corresponds to the L pulse is fixed to H. On a reception side, it is decided that data transfer is completed when the presence of the L pulse in the odd- numbered data (a) is detected in the period H of the transfer clock (c), so the need to transfer the strobe signal can be eliminated and the transfer rate can be nearly doubled with the three signal lines.</p> |
