PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device with which low power consumption and highly accurate display are attained. SOLUTION: This plasma display device is provided with a plasma display panel which is provided with first row electrodes and second row electrodes which are extended in a horizontal direction and are formed alternately and with column electrodes which are opposed with the first row electrodes and second row electrodes via a discharge space in which discharge gas is sealed, which are extended in a vertical direction and which is constituted by allowing respective row electrode intervals by the first row electrodes and the second row electrodes to be related with the display liners of the screen of the panel, capacitors, a first switching current path which selectively discharges charges stored on these capacitors and supplies the charges to a power source line, a second switching current path which selectively applies prescribed power source potential to the above-described power source line, a third switching current path which selectively charges the above-described capacitors with charges stored on these column electrodes via the power source line and a pixel data pulse generating circuit which generates pixel data pulses corresponding to an input video signal by connecting the power source line source and the column electrodes for a prescribed period in accordance with the input video signal and applies the pulses on the column electrode.
