PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform data transfer by holding the data bus arbitration in a simple method and finely setting the priority of data transfer capability of the bus. SOLUTION: When the burst transmission and the burst reception of image data are parallelly performed from an image data controlling part 3 to an image memory access controlling part 6 by using a shared parallel bus 5, a burst length at a time when the burst transmission is performed and a burst length at a time when the burst reception is performed can separately and independently be set, and when a priority is higher in the transmission of the image data than in the reception of the image data in the part 3 and when the transmission must immediately be performed as a copying operation, the transmission burst length is made longer than the reception burst length, and image data having a high priority are quickly transferred by a simple bus arbitrating method.
