MULTI-FUNCTION SYSTEM, ITS CONTROL METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDED WITH ITS CONTROL PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by reducing the capacity of a memory for storing the system program of a multi-function device single body. SOLUTION: The system program generated by a host computer 100 is stored in a file server 300 via a LAN10. Storage position information of the storage destination of the system program stored in the sever 300 and a program name are registered in a retrieval server 400. Then the storage destination of the system program to be operated in a function device 200 is retrieved by using the retrieval server 400. The system program is obtained from the file sever 300 based on the retrieval result and the obtained system program is downloaded to the multi-function device 200 via the LAN10. In this case, a condition is retrieved from the multiple conditions by system program kinds.
