PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal device and its memory information remote calling method which easily and remotely retrieve and call a desired telephone number. SOLUTION: A portable telephone set 100 as the mobile communication terminal device is provided with a TRX part (transmission/reception part) 1, a password number collation part 2, a telephone directory memory 3, a retrieval part 4, and a report part 5. When a call arrives, a message based on a simple automatic answering and recording function (called a message memo hereafter) is sent out, and it is discriminated whether the telephone directory memory is called during the operation of the message memo processing. When the telephone directory memory is called, it is discriminated whether a subsequently inputted password number is correct, and a request of telephone number retrieval is accepted if the password number is correct. A name and a telephone number being information retrieved from the telephone directory memory are reported (announced) to a user. Thus the user can easily acquire the telephone number though having left the portable telephone set behind, and the privacy of the user is protected by collation of the password number.
