PURPOSE: To provide radio communication equipment having a good high-frequency characteristic. CONSTITUTION: This radio communication equipment has an IC chip incorporating a transmission-reception IC containing a low-noise amplifier(LNA) constituted of a transistor. On the main surface of the IC chip, a plurality of electrode terminals (pads) are provided along its side edge, but such wiring that traverses the wiring connecting the emitter, base, and collector of the transistor constituting the LNA to the pads is not provided between the emitter, base, and collector and pads. Consequently, the wiring connected to the emitter, base, collector can be made shorter and the capacity of this communication equipment can be reduced. In addition, such wirings as the power line, ground line, etc., are not provided between the side of the chip and pads. Consequently, the lengths of wires connecting the pads to leads can be reduced. In addition, since the LNA is arranged near the center of one side of the chip, short leads can be used and, accordingly, the gain and noise characteristic of this communication equipment are improved. |
