PURPOSE: A keyphone system for reproducing plural music and a method therefor are provided to selectively reproduce plural music signals stored in a memory to hear the reproduced music signals and voluntarily convert a holding music by receiving the plural music signals from an external acoustic devices to store the received plural music signals and selectively reproducing the plural music signals in a digital keyphone telephone. CONSTITUTION: A keyphone main device(100) connected with an external acoustic device(300) has a music processing unit(110) for storing a music signal received from the external acoustic device(300) or outputting the stored music signal, a transmitting unit(120) for transmitting the music signal outputted from the music processing unit(110) to a digital keyphone telephone(200) connected with a communication line, and a CPU(130) for controlling each composition unit for transmitting a certain music signal among a plural music signals stored in the music processing unit(110) to the digital keyphone telephone(200). The music processing unit(110) has a connection unit(111) for receiving the music signal from the external acoustic device(300), a codec(112) converts an analog music signal received through the connection unit(111) into a digital signal, or converts the stored digital music signal into an analog music signal, a DSP(113) for processing the digital music signal converted in the codec(112), a storing unit(114) for successively storing the digital music signal outputted from the DSP(113), and a backup battery(115) for being charged when the power is supplied to a keyphone system and supplying an auxiliary power when the power is blocked.
