PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal complex coloring matter having good light absorbing ability in a range from a visible light to an infrared ray as well as a photoelectric transducer element and a photocell each containing semiconductor particulates to which the coloring matter is adsorbed. SOLUTION: The photoelectric transducer element and the photocell each contains the semiconductor particulates made sensitive with the metal complex coloring matter represented by Formula 1, (LL1)m1(X1)m2M1(BL) M2(LL2)m3(X2)m4.CI, where M1 and M2 are metal atoms, BL is a ligand having two or more portions capable of two-seat coordination, represented by Formula 2 (where L is a coupling group, R1 is an acidic group such as a carboxyl group, R2 is a substitutional group, a1 and a2 are 0-4 integers, and n is a 0-2 integer), LL1 and LL2D are two- or three-seat ligands, represented by Formula 3, X1 and X2 are one- or two-seat ligands, m1 and m3 are 0-2 integers, m2 and m4 are 0-4 integers, and CI is a counter ion.
