PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective liquid crystal display device permitting to realize a bright and sharp contrast display by suppressing discrimination caused by an electric field between adjoining pixels. SOLUTION: In the reflective liquid crystal display device in accordance with this invention, a TFT array substrate is provided thereon with a TFT 5 arranged in each pixel area partitioned by plural scanning lines and plural data lines and a common electrode 9, a pixel electrode 8 for generating a lateral electric field across the common electrode 9, and a reflecting electrode 14. |
