CORRECTION OF DEFECTIVE PIXEL IN DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection picture system having a device and a method for correcting the defective pixel of an obtain picture. SOLUTION: The system includes a correction system including the temporary substitution of a defective pixel by the linear interpolation of a nearby pixel value at the periphery of the defect pixel, the decision of a local gradient partially based on the obtained picture and a gradient kernel and the supply of a correction value based on the local gradient for correcting the defective pixel. The correction system is repeated for plural times in accordance with need since all the defective pixels in the obtained picture are corrected.
