PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picked up image processing method and device capable of omitting the labor for correction in a print finish stage and improving working efficiency by previously removing the flaws formed at a photographic film in an image processing stage. SOLUTION: This method and device are constituted as follows: The films F are subjected to hierarchical image pickup in a thickness direction including emulsion coated surfaces G and non-coated surfaces E by a film image pickup means 15; the respective picked up images are respectively converted to space frequencies by an FET 24; these space frequencies are subjected to filtering processing, by which the space frequencies of the emulsion coated surfaces G and non-coated surfaces E of the films F are extracted; the space frequencies of both surfaces are reverse converted to image data in the FET 24 and both images are subtracted in a CPU 22. |
