PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber having a lens excellent in coupling efficiency with a laser diode, its manufacturing method, and manufacturing device and semiconductor laser module. SOLUTION: The fiber 1 having the lens provided with a lens part L made by lens working the tip end of the optical fiber having a core and a clad, the manufacturing method, and the manufacturing device for the lens 1 having the lens and semiconductor laser module are provided. In the lens 1, the lens part L of the fiber 1 having the lens is provided with a substantially flat part 1c formed in the end surface of the core 1a and an inclined surface 1e formed in the end surface of the clad 1b, and a projected and curved surface 1d including a part of the core 1a is formed between the substantially flat 1c and the inclined surface 1e.
