PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read out stored voice mails in an arbitrary order independently of the storage order in a voice mail device where incoming voice mails are stored. SOLUTION: A voice mail control part 11 stores incoming voice mails and their attendant information into a voice mail database part 12 and transmits a voice mail incoming report and attendant information to a voice mail attendant information processing part 21, and a voice mail attendant information display part 22 displays them. A user inputs a selection condition of a voice mail to be reproduced by a voice mail operation part 23 on the basis of this display. The voice mail attendant information processing part 21 determines a voice mail identifier on the basis of the selection condition, and the voice mail control part 11 reads out a voice mail from the voice mail database part 12 on the basis of the received identifier. The read voice mail in a data form is reproduced by a voice mail reproducing/transmission part 13 and is transmitted to a telephone terminal 20 equipped with a voice mail access function.
