PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of feeding paper by surely carrying the paper on a transfer feeding belt by electrostatic attraction in spite of the change of the size, the material and the thickness of the paper and environmental change such as temperature and humidity change even in the case of using the middle-resistance transfer feeding belt advantageous in terms of the reduction of cost. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with a constant-current power source 106 imparting charge to the transfer feeding belt 101 by applying a current from a direction crossing with the paper carrying surface of the belt 101 in a current supply area extended in a direction crossing with a surface moving direction on the paper carrying surface of the belt 101, and a control part 200 controlling the power source 106 so that a current set value in the power source 106 may be changed based on the width of a paper passing part where the paper 1 passes to cross out of the current supply area in the extended direction of the current supply area. It is good to provide a paper width sensor detecting the width of the paper and change the current set value based on the detected result by the paper width sensor.
