<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash plate compressor capable of reducing load of an on-vehicle engine. SOLUTION: The swash plate compressor has first chambers 31, 33 for low pressure gas sucked into a housing, and second chambers 32, 34 for high pressure gas delivered therefrom. A pair of valve plates 38, 40 are disposed, which are provided with inlet openings 42, 46 and outlet openings 44, 48 which allows passing of gas and which are opened/closed by an opening/closing valve. A recessed part 54 and a plunger 52 slidably received thereto are disposed in the housing. The plunger is attached to an opening/closing valve 50 for opening an outlet of one valve plate 38, and receives spring force of a compressed spring member 62. In the housing, one passage 66 communicated with the recessed part and a couple of two passages 68, 70 communicated with the first and the second chambers are disposed, and a solenoid valve 72 for selectively connecting one passage to two passages is attached. When the passage is connected, the opening/closing valve 50 is positioned on an action position for opening/closing the opening of the outlet, or on an not-action position for not opening/closing it.</p> |
