PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a higher harmonic suppression rectifying method and an electric power unit, capable of effectively suppressing higher harmonics by a constitution at a lower cost. SOLUTION: In this electric power unit 10, using a PWM converter with a built-in transformer to cope with plural kinds of power voltages, the transformer is constituted to suppress in its secondary side higher harmonics of higher order, the higher harmonics of higher order are rectified so as to be suppressed. |
