PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of an electrical machine which operates as a motor or a generator. SOLUTION: A highly efficient electrical machine can be realized by employing a structure such as electrical angle in a range, where the inductance increases when a second object 28 is moved in one direction is different from the electrical angle in a range, where the inductance is decreased, thereby widening the range where the reluctance torque can be utilized effectively.
