PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television camera which permits the repositioning of a horizontal axis and a vertical axis in a wider range and which has a monitor camera body formed of a ball-like body. SOLUTION: A camera cover 12 housing a camera body 13 formed of a ball-like body inside is fitted to the center of a camera holder 3 by using a fitting body 12 in a whole ring shape. The camera body 13 is rotated in a free direction inside the cover 12 and is positioned and fixed. Then, an image pickup part can be directed in an arbitrary direction.
