MONITORING CAMERA WITH DISTURBANCE DETECTION FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring camera that can accurately detect a deterioration state in the resolution of a screen image without being affected by a change in the lightness of a monitored area among video image signals. SOLUTION: The monitoring camera is provide with a focusing state detection section that detects a change in a high frequency contour signal depending on the reduction in signal components of 2 MHz-5 MHz among video signals so as to properly detect a state that a translucent shield is stuck to a lens face of the monitoring camera.
