PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut the CM(commercial messages) for preventing the recording mistakes of program main parts to be received in a stereophonic mode in a device which records the videos and voices on a random access enable disklike recording medium such as an HDD or a DVD-RAM. SOLUTION: The video signals received together with CM parts are recorded on a disklike recording medium, these received signals are checked to detect the CM parts and the video signals of parts detected as the CM parts are erased, or the video signals of the detected parts are not reproduced and the program main parts recorded next are reproduced. Thus, the video signals subjected to the CM cut processing are reproduced.
