PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL light source with high brightness and stability by radiating the heat from a luminous layer through a transparent base board. SOLUTION: For the organic EL light source, at least a transparent electrode film 21, a luminous layer 22 and a reflecting electrode film 23 are formed on one side of a transparent base board 1. High heat radiation efficiency is obtained by installing a perforated heat conducting plate 3 on the surface of another side of the base board 1.
