PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for a push-button switch of high visibility that is composed of less number of components and at a lower cost, for the push-button switch which is capable of displaying the plural functions with a single depression at one push. SOLUTION: The material for the switch is featured in which plural illuminated function displays 8, 9 are formed, reflecting the light from the multiple light sources 19, 20 induced from the back, on the surface of the switching portion 11 which function through the depression operation. The respective light emitted from the light sources 19, 20 is controlled so as to irradiate the corresponding function display 8, 9 but is prevented from radiating other relating function display parts through the inhibiting means of radiation and the movable point having the switching function 17, aligned as the unit at the bottom of the switch 11.
