LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY FOR COMPENSATING DATA CHARGING TIME

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display for compensating a data charging time is to compensate a data charging time by delaying a generation of gate on-voltage considering an appliance timing of a data voltage. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel includes a plurality of data lines, a plurality of gate lines, a pixel electrode, a common electrode and a thin film transistor. The plurality of gate lines are perpendicular to the data lines. A timing control unit(10) receives a horizontal sync signal, a vertical sync signal, a data voltage and a main clock and generates a Vstart signal and an output enable signal. The Vstart signal is used for informing an appliance timing of a gate clock and a gate on signal. A source driving unit(50) is driven according to the timing signal output from the timing control unit and applies data signal to the data line. A gate driving unit(40) applies the gate clock, the Vstart signal and a gate driving signal. The gate driving signal is synchronized with the output enable signal.
