PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise reducing circuit capable of realizing the stable noise reduction to the large shock noise at the point of the time a switching circuit is changed over. SOLUTION: In the case the FM carrier signal magnetically recorded on a tape is traced by a first head of 1 and second head of 2 mounted at a rotary cylinder and is demodulated in a demodulating circuit 5 by selective changeover with the switching circuit 3, the changeover to the switching circuit 3 is executed by the signal delayed by the delay time in a delay circuit 8 from the hold start instruction of a switching noise correction circuit 6 having a hold function, by which the effect of reducing the large shock during the switch changeover is obtained.
