PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device having high homogeneity of image quality. SOLUTION: A printed wiring board (second substrate) 107 is disposed toward a substrate (first substrate) 101 formed with light emitting elements 102. PWB side wiring (second wiring group) 110 on the printed wiring board 107 is electrically connected by anisotropic conductive films 105a and 105b to element side wiring (first wiring groups) 103 and 104. At this time, low-resistance foil is used as the PWB side wiring 110 and therefore the voltage drop and signal delay of the element side wiring 103 and 104 may be lessened. The improvement in the homogeneity of the image quality and the improvement in the operating speed of a drive circuit section are made possible.
