PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound generating device which dynamically controls the generation of additional sound such as resonating sound and its characteristic based on the operating timing of a playing auxiliary operator and the amount of operation. SOLUTION: A musical sound waveform data memory 1 stores musical sound waveform data as plural sound component sets. Damper pedal additional sound is a resonating sound and the vibration of the damper pedal off sound is controlled by a damper and generated. First to n-th sound generating channels 2-1 to 2-n of a sound source device are made up of sound generating channels for every sound component and the sound volume level of each sound component is dynamically controlled by varying the coefficients to be multiplied with each sound component waveform in real time. A mixer 3 outputs musical sound produced by mixing the sound generating channels of the first to the n-th sound components. A control section 4 generates playing information and assigns the information to the first to the n-th sound generating channels.
